out to me so far is he says that the Book of Revelation is a book of hope. 00:00:47.780 --> 00:00:54.940 And that's encouraging to me, because no matter what we're going through, no matter what's about it. 00:05:38.720 --> 00:05:42.350 If you look at Hebrews chapter 11, you see what he's talking about. 00:05:42.440 --> 00:05:45.800 You see what some of these prophets endured and what they went through. 00:05:45.860 --> 00:05:49.620 And if you're a student of the Bible, these some of these prophets. 00:05:49.740 --> 00:05:52.150 It was crazy what they dealt with, what they endured. would have these big dinners, and they would have these big gatherings. 00:06:50.720 --> 00:06:57.760 And after his kids would get together the next day, job would rise up early in the morning and he would offer burnt 00:06:57.760 --> 00:07:04.800 offerings for each of his kids, and he would do that, the Bible says, just in case any of them sinned or cursed 00:07:04.800 --> 00:07:05.240 God. starting in verse six, it says, now there was a day when the sons of God came and presented themselves before 00:07:39.000 --> 00:07:42.020 the Lord, and Satan also came with them. 00:07:42.740 --> 00:07:44.160 That's amazing. 00:07:44.780 --> 00:07:46.010 The sons of God are angels. 00:07:46.160 --> 00:07:50.820 The angels come and present themselves before God, and Satan also comes with them. that could do that. 00:20:51.000 --> 00:20:58.060 And those of you that are familiar with First John know this first John chapter two and verse one says, my little children, I am writing these things We have somewhat of a parallel and there's many for this one, but this is for he has rescued us from the domain of darkness, 00:21:45.140 --> 00:21:51.040 and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved son, in whom we have redemption and the forgiveness of sin. 00:21:51.800 --> 00:21:54.020 Job says, I know that my Redeemer lives. 00:21:54.020 --> 00:22:00.900 You know job again, we're not who's younger than the other guys, but he had to have been there all along because Elihu's argument is, he argues, 00:22:57.160 --> 00:23:00.670 from what job and his three friends have been arguing about already. 00:23:01.460 --> 00:23:08.560 And Elihu, he in the next six chapters states his point, and his point 00:23:08.560 --> 00:23:09.640 is much more godly. 00:23:09.820 --> 00:23:11.240 This is this is really good. 00:23:11.240 --> 00:23:12.740 He starts out angry. 00:23:12.760 --> 00:23:18.380 Elihu says, job, I'm angry with you because you justified yourself and not God, right? 00:23:18.480 --> 00:23:22.640 You eventually got to the place to where you found your justification within yourself. 00:23:23.460 --> 00:23:26.540 When you know that God's the one that justifies. 00:23:27.640 --> 00:23:27.840 And. 00:23:28.000 --> 00:23:34.000 And then he was angry with the three friends because they spend all of their time, they didn't give job any godly advice. 00:23:34.040 --> 00:23:35.120 All they gave him was condemnation. 00:23:36.760 --> 00:23:39.030 And so Elihu was angry at them as well. 00:23:39.620 --> 00:23:43.280 And Elihu comes at this whole thing with a whole different point of view. 00:23:43.360 --> 00:23:45.920 The other guys were trying to prove job was a sinner. 00:23:46.080 --> 00:23:48.260 Elihu didn't want to prove job was a sinner. 00:23:48.360 --> 00:23:56.010 Elihu who wanted to show him that his view of God, what he was saying about God, his questioning of God is wrong. 00:23:56.340 --> 00:24:00.100 He had no no right, no 00:24:16.710 Now, like I said, Eliyahu goes on for six chapters. 00:24:16.860 --> 00:24:23.920 And then all of a sudden in chapter 38, job Eliphaz Bildad Zophar, none of those guys got 00:24:23.920 --> 00:24:28.140 to talk because God said, I'm done with all this. 00:24:28.280 --> 00:24:29.430 It's my turn to talk. 00:24:30.400 --> 00:24:31.520 I'm ready to talk. 00:24:31.520 --> 00:24:33.540 I need, I need to be the one that comes in next. 00:24:34.200 --> 00:24:40.440 And so God starts talking and, job questioned God's justice. 00:24:40.520 --> 00:24:41.880 He challenged God. 00:24:41.880 --> 00:24:43.560 He questioned Job and God. 00:24:43.560 --> 00:24:50.840 And even though God's going to challenge job and it's interesting to realize God's challenge of job still comes 00:24:50.840 --> 00:24:54.240 on the heels of God calling him things like a man. 00:24:54.300 --> 00:25:00.210 There's no other man like him on earth, and calling him blameless and upright and the greatest of the but job says I'm done and God continues to challenge him through the 00:26:27.600 --> 00:26:29.640 first part of chapter 42. 00:26:29.720 --> 00:26:36.100 And we finally see the place where job come to that place where we say, I know you can do all things, and no plan is 00:27:38.960 --> 00:27:40.020 impossible for you. 00:27:40.840 --> 00:27:46.640 I mean, just get to that spot where we it's kind of hard to apply that truth. 00:30:47.160 --> 00:30:54.420 So my prayers this morning is that when we're going through stuff, if you got something going on and you're going through stuff,
